About EFAC 2026
Day 1: Pre-Festival Activation – Calgary Food War
Prepare for a culinary showdown as two African and two Caribbean seniors compete to craft their most iconic traditional dishes. This exciting “Battle of the Seniors” will blend culinary artistry with cultural pride.
Day 2: Main Festival Celebration
At the Genesis Centre, experience an electrifying performance by international Afro-music superstar Rotimi and an appearance by African movie icon Bolanle Ninalowo (Mr. Makanaki). The celebration concludes with an exclusive VIP After-Party at the Ampersand, featuring a seven-course dinner, exotic drinks, and networking opportunities with top celebrities, government officials, and business leaders.
