A Cultural Trilogy 2025

A Cultural Trilogy - An Alberta Culture Days Celebration.

Celebrating Diversity Through Art and Culture

The Ethnik Festivals Association (EFA), in collaboration with local organizations across Alberta and surrounding communities, proudly presents the 2025 edition of “A Cultural Trilogy”—a vibrant, four-day cultural celebration held during Alberta Culture Days.

Theme: “Borderless Creativity: Global Stories, Alberta Stages”

This year’s theme centers on filmmaking as a transformative force—highlighting its role in identity, innovation, and cross-cultural collaboration. From global trends to grassroots artistry, the 2025 trilogy explores how the entertainment industry connects communities, drives creativity, and creates opportunity for artists at all levels.

What to Expect: Event Highlights

“A Cultural Trilogy” is a carefully curated experience blending spontaneous artistic expression with powerful cultural showcases. Each day features immersive programming that explores the intersection of diverse artistic presentations, heritage, and innovation:

  • Live music performances from both emerging and established artists
  • Traditional and contemporary dance presentations
  • Theatrical performances and creative storytelling
  • Art exhibitions and craft displays
  • Panel discussions and industry networking
  • The 2025 International Entertainment Summit

Our event stands out as it coincides with the annual Alberta Culture Days Celebrations. Throughout September and October, Albertans from various communities come together to share their cultural heritage on our stage. This event ensures equal representation from diverse ethnicities, creating a platform where Canadians, indigenous communities, and visible minority groups can showcase their cultural activities and share stories from lived experiences. It fosters cultural bonding and promotes understanding, contributing to a forward-thinking society.

This year’s special guest, Richard Mofe-Damijo (RMD)—a celebrated Nigerian actor, producer, and media executive—will lend his insight to help bridge the gap between local and international creative industries, with a focus on film and media development. To know more about him, please click here.
